Wm. Frost Mobley
Born and raised in Wilbraham, Mass, I finished high school then joined the Air Force to be followed by many years as a car mechanic. But I think that there was Ephemera in my blood since 1974 when I left the Volvo auto repair business in Southern California to become a full time Antiquarian Dealer in Books, Prints and Maps. In 1979 I was introduced to the world of Ephemera through my mentor Sam Murray and I joined The Ephemera Society in London, UK. Since that time I’ve been responsible for founding The Ephemera Society of America in 1980, published four major illustrated catalogs on Ephemera, experienced the auction business in the early 80’s and been involved in organizing several Ephemera Fairs. I am a major collector of Chocolate Ephemera and was inducted into the Chocolate Hall of Fame in 1989, ha!ha! don’t laugh it’s true!.
I was introduced to the internet in 1997 and discovered the demand for a quality web site for buying or selling Ephemera. After several years of research was launched in December 1999. This site is my Catalog 5 and will continue for years to come.

Carol Ann Mobley
After moving to Colorado in 1996 I met my partner, Carol. We were married in Febuary 1999 and live in a great 1930’s home in Old Englewood, Colorado. Carol is a natural with Ephemera and has become a great collector of Winter Sports Graphic Design especially Snowshoeing and Tobogganing. Carol is the organization behind the web business and even sells her Postcards in The Ephemera Catalog
Carol was raised in Colorado and lived most of her adult life in Alamosa, Colorado. Currently Carol works for a large corporation, Lipper a division of Reuters, as the Library Supervisor. She enjoys the benefits of having been raised in the mountains and spent time fishing & camping. Both Carol and I enjoy scouting for Ephemera as well as spending aday out fishing on the South Platte River.
We want to extend our hospitality to all ephemera enthusiasts while visiting Colorado, give us a call if you’re in town. We both hope that all visitors to The Ephemera Catalog or throughout this site will enjoy themselves and let us know your want list.
